    "The Home Version" was originally conceived as something for attendees of Kane's house concerts and solo acoustic performances to be able to bring home with them. Recorded by Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case, Blue Rodeo) at Operation Northwoods in Mono, Ontario, the CD is just Kevin and his acoustic guitar: completely live with no overdubbing or embellishing. On it, he revisits and reinterprets a sampling of his back catalog, beginning with the very first Grapes Of Wrath EP ("Misunderstanding") and going all the way up to his last solo album ("Last To Know").
